Residential
Care for Adults
The difference between
a house and a home may be as subtle as a
familiar scent from the kitchen, the curve
of a favorite chair or a warm embrace from
a loved one. Hattie Larlham provides comprehensive
community services to adults with a wide
range of medical conditions and abilities
related to mental retardation and developmental
disabilities (MR/DD).
Our community
homes place adults with disabilities
in a skill-appropriate setting where they
participate in household duties while interacting
with their neighborhoods and communities.
Currently, Hattie Larlham provides community
homes throughout Northeast Ohio located
in Summit, Cuyahoga, Portage, Stark and
Richland counties.
The staff-to-care ratio
at our homes is kept at a balance to obtain
the highest level of caring and support
possible. Our compassionate team of caregivers
handles medical, personal care, recreation
and behavioral health needs of each individual.
These caregivers also plan community activities
to encourage socialization while providing
the same level of personal care you have
come to expect from Hattie Larlham.
Depending on the level
of care needed, some of our community homes
offer services including:
- 24-hour support for
medical, safety and social coordination
- Weekly monitoring assessments
- Support for Alzheimer,
Dementia and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Trained caregivers
- RN nursing support
services
- Financial planning
and payee services
