We at Hattie Larlham realize
that not every one is able to care for their
loved ones with disabilities. The simple
act of making a home safe and accessible
for family members with disabilities can
be both overwhelming and expensive. For
those very reasons, Hattie Larlham offers
a variety of respite programs at various
locations to accommodate your needs. We
offer our respite services at the Hattie
Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities,
in a certified provider’s home or
even in the comfort of your own home.
Our private duty and daycare
services are accredited by the Community
Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) and
are licensed by the Ohio Department of Developmental
Disabilities and certified by the Ohio Department
of Jobs and Family Services.
We are equipped to care
for infants, young children, teens, adults
and seniors with medically involved conditions
and developmental disabilities.
Our respite service options
are offered to families of individuals with
disabilities who may need assistance while
they are at work, on vacation or need to
take time off from their daily routine.
Individuals utilizing our respite services
vary in age from infants to senior citizens.
Certified and trained
providers employed by Hattie Larlham provide
the direct care for each of our respite
options. We provide services 24-hours a
day, 7 days a week. Families have the option
to have a personal care provider, LPN or
RN for the needs of each individual with
whom they work. All of our providers have
CPR and first aid certifications and are
trained in safe lifting techniques, specialized
feeding, personal care and medication side
effects.
