Eaton Corporation plant manager Gary Wolny
presented Nov. 20, 2007, a $15,000 grant
to Hattie Larlham.
The money will go towards Hope
At Work, the $16 million expansion
and renovation of the Hattie Larlham Center
for Excellence, formerly known as the Center
for Children with Disabilities. Upon the
project’s completion in 2008, the
new Center for Excellence will include a
specialized technology unit, Life Achievement
Center and an emergency heliport.
This holiday season, Eaton donated more
than $84,000 to local organizations.
“Eaton recognizes the importance
of giving back to the communities in which
we do business,” said Barry Doggett,
Eaton’s vice president of public and
community affairs. “We are proud to
partner with these organizations that provide
valuable support and life-enriching services
to the citizens of Cleveland and the surrounding
areas.”
Wolny said Eaton has been giving to local
organizations since the company first expanded
to Mantua nearly 50 years ago. Eaton’s
world headquarters is in Cleveland.
“It’s something we look forward
to doing every year,” Wolny said.
