Fundraiser for Hattie Larlham is Going
to the Dogs
(AKRON, Ohio)
June 16, 2009 – A portion
of all vehicle and dog wash proceeds at
the Quick Clean Car & Pet Wash Store
in Akron, Ohio, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on
Saturday, June 20 will benefit Hattie Larlham
Doggie Day Care & Boarding. As customers
get their four wheels and four-legged friends
washed and ready to go, free hot dogs and
beverages will be available compliments
of Acme Fresh Market.
Additionally, for
a limited time only, touch-free automatic
vehicle wash vouchers are available for
$8 at Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care or
at the event. These vouchers offer a 20
percent savings and have no expiration date.
Hattie
Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding
offers long-term boarding and short-term
day care for dogs in a cage-free environment
that makes the dogs feel as close to home
as possible. The dogs enjoy furnished theme
rooms and indoor and outdoor play areas.
In accordance with the organization’s
mission, Hattie Larlham employs people with
disabilities at the facility. As these employees
learn to care for the animals, they develop
important life skills, ensuring this program
has a positive impact on all parties involved.
