Cleveland Indians Step Up to the Plate for Hattie Larlham
Proceeds Benefit People with Disabilities
(MANTUA, Ohio) February 4, 2010 – To celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, Cleveland Indians Charities will donate a portion of select ticket sales from the Cleveland Indians’ pre-season home opener against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, March 6, to Hattie Larlham. The Indians and the Reds will face off in the beautiful Goodyear Ballpark located in Goodyear, Ariz. at 1:05 p.m.
Hattie Larlham is an Ohio-based nonprofit that provides services to 1,500 children and adults with developmental disabilities. The partnership between Hattie Larlham and the Cleveland Indians marks the second consecutive year that the two have joined forces to raise funds for people with disabilities.
Tickets benefiting the organization for this year’s game cost $50 and include a seat on the rooftop terrace behind home plate, lunch and non-alcoholic beverages. Special guests from the Cleveland Indians will be on hand to mingle with fans. Raffles and special prizes will also be available.
