Ham for the Holidays

In the spirit of the holidays, Hattie Larlham and a local HoneyBaked Ham are working together to spread a little holiday cheer. And ham.

This Thanksgiving and holiday season, customers of the HoneyBaked Ham store in Streetsboro, Ohio, can place and pick up their order at select Hattie’s Café & Gifts.

For Thanksgiving, customers can place and pick up their order at the Hudson café. These products will include hams and turkeys, sides and cakes. Products will be available for pick-up on Monday, November 23; Tuesday, November 24; or Wednesday, November 25.

For the Holidays, orders can be placed and picked up at either the Hudson café or at the Canal Place café in downtown Akron. Holiday orders can be picked up at the Hudson Hattie’s Café & Gifts Monday, December 21 through Thursday, December 24. Orders for the Canal Place location can be picked up Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23.

If, however, your holiday traditions include a delicious apple or pumpkin pie, Hattie’s Café & Gifts can help. This holiday season, Hattie’s Café & Gifts is selling 10” pies for $7.99. Customers can preorder pies and pick them up from any Hattie’s Café & Gifts seven locations.

The seasonal partnership also benefits the adults with disabilities who work at Hattie’s Café & Gifts. The pairing will create a new opportunity for employees to learn new skills and interact with the community.

This isn’t the first time Hattie Larlham and the Streetsboro, Ohio, HoneyBaked Ham have worked together to support people with disabilities and the community. Since 2007, HoneyBaked Ham and other nearby businesses have hosted the Hattie Larlham fundraiser, Hats Off to Hattie. The summer event is held at Liberty Corners Plaza in Streetsboro.

Hattie’s Café & Gifts is a vocational training program for adults with disabilities. Employees learn important on-the-job skills in a safe and friendly environment. Hattie’s Café & Gifts is a Hattie Larlham program with seven locations in Northeast Ohio.
