Paws on Parade

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy a walk with your dog in the autumn air and support Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding.

This year, the Paws on Parade route included the scenic Southgate Park at Boetler Park in Green, Ohio.

Guests who brought their dog in costume to Paws on Parade were able to join the dog parade with celebrity guests Malcolm X Abram, Akron Beacon Journal music critic, and Chuck Collins from 1590 WAKR.

Guests at Paws on Parade also met Boomer the Bomb-Sniffing Dog and Summit County Deputy Sheriff Mike Jones. Boomer has protected four living Presidents during their visits to Canton, Ohio.

About the Program

At Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding, adults with disabilities learn valuable workplace skills in a rewarding, community setting. Paws On Parade raises money to support operational costs and services provided at Hattie Larlham Doggie Day Care & Boarding.
