Staff Nurse
Location:
Oakwood Village and Solon
Reports To: Clinical Coordinator
Job Description:
Monitor, assess, and provide healthcare
services to residents as outlined in their
plans of care and Individual Habilitation
Plans. Additional responsibilities include
but are not limited to:
- Administer medications
and treatments as needed
- Take orders off chart
and/or call physician as needed
- Provide supervision
of staff in absence of management
- Complete duties and
paperwork pertaining to assigned shift
- Communicate ongoing
health issues and treatments to families
- Ensure that home staff
understand the health services necessary
to ensure the best quality of care to
each individual
- Assist with transporting
and/or accompanying individuals on medical
and/or recreational trips
- Responsible for participation
and maintaining a safe work place and
attending annual mandatory safety training
Educational Requirements:
Must be an RN/LPN with current license in
State of Ohio and NAPNES Pharmacology.
Experience:
Must possess some supervision skills. Must
have knowledge of nursing care of multi-challenged
individuals. Must have knowledge of regulatory
standards and nursing pertinent to group
homes.
Working Conditions:
Will work according to assigned schedule
but may be asked to work other shifts, weekends,
and holidays as required.
