Hattie’s Café & Gifts is a group of coffee and sandwich shops owned and operated by Hattie Larlham. Each café provides vocational training and employment to people with developmental disabilities.

Hattie’s Café & Gifts offers fair trade coffee, fresh baked goods, sandwiches and gifts. People with developmental disabilities also fill orders from the organization’s online store. The site features some of the café’s most popular products in its gift baskets. Hattie’s Café & Gifts sells gift baskets for almost every occasion including birthdays, holidays and seasonal gifts. In 2009, employees with developmental disabilities at Hattie’s Café & Gifts assembled 1,996 gift baskets. Your purchase supports people with developmental disabilities.

The first Hattie’s Café &Gifts opened in Hudson, Ohio, on Oct. 6, 2006. Today, there are Hattie’s Café & Gifts throughout Northeast Ohio, with locations in Cleveland, Akron and Hudson. A Hattie’s Café & Gifts is located in the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Cleveland, but it is not open to public. View Hattie’s Café & Gifts Northeast Ohio locations.

Hattie Larlham also operates The Bakery at Hattie’s Café & Gifts and Hattie’s Vending in Akron. The bakery produces all of the fresh baked goods sold at Hattie’s Café & Gifts in addition to the café menu and gift items. The vending company manages vending machines in business and recreational establishments throughout the greater Akron area.
