The Bakery at Hattie’s Café & Gifts also serves ice cream, fair trade coffee and lunches featuring salads, sandwiches, wraps and more.

Staff at the Bakery at Hattie’s Café & Gifts also fulfills gift basket orders placed on the online store. Fresh baked cookies, brownies and muffins are baked, boxed and shipped to customers across the country.

Like all Hattie’s Café & Gifts locations, the bakery is a Hattie Larlham vocational training and employement program for adults with developmental disabilities. The Bakery at Hattie’s Café & Gifts employs eight people with developmental disabilities.

The Bakery at Hattie's Café & Gifts was made possible by a grant from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in Akron, Ohio. Hattie Larlham also worked with the Downtown Akron Partnership to develop the the Bakery at Hattie's Café & Gifts. The Downtown Akron Partnership works to attract and retain businesses in Akron, Ohio.
