Camps for Children with Disabilities

Hattie Larlham provides a variety of camps for Northeast Ohio children of various ages and abilities throughout the year. These camps are divided into two general categories: summer camp and school-year camps. Camps are in session when children are out of school: in the summer, during winter and spring breaks and over in-service days and holidays. Children spend their days in structured and unstructured activities that help them learn and grow while they play.

Each summer and school-year camp offers attendees a different approach to fun, depending on the interests and needs of the children.

Many Hattie Larlham camps ask campers to bring a lunch, change of clothes and swimsuit each camp day. Hattie Larlham is a secure facility and campers must be signed in and out by a parent, guardian or designated adult.

Hattie Larlham Summer Camps for Children with Disabilities

Registration for Hattie Larlham summer camps starts March 1, 2012. Registration is held on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Age guidelines are flexible and may be modified to accomodate the needs of children with disabilities as well as camp group dynamics. This is done at the discretion of Hattie Larlham staff.

Hattie Larlham Summer Camp Admission and Registration

Hattie Larlham requires summer camp attendees complete and return a registration form (PDF). Hattie Larlham staff encourage parents to bring their interested campers in for an initial tour and interview.

The cost for all Hattie Larlham summer camps, with the exception of Connect with Hattie's Friends Camp (formerly Camp Connect) and Connect with Therapeutic Riding Camp, is outlined below. The cost for Connect with Hattie's Friends Camp and Connect with Therapeutic Riding Camp is provided with each camp's information.
