Darryl Mast joined Hattie Larlham in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President of Operations for Hattie Larlham. He is a member of the Hattie Larlham executive staff. His responsibilities include government, community, corporate and private foundation grants, IT/Phone systems, facilities, vehicle fleet, marketing, websites and volunteer recruitment and activities.
Prior to coming to Hattie Larlham, he was Senior Vice President at Second National Bank of Warren and was an Executive Officer of Second Bancorp Incorporated; a NASDAQ listed Russell 2000 Company with $2.2 billion in assets. He was responsible for the administration of 33 Retail Banking Centers, Private Banking, Consumer Lending, Call Center, website and online banking. He also served on the Asset/Liability, Products & Pricing, Facilities, and Insurance committees. While at Second National Bank, he served as President of the Hattie Larlham Foundation and Treasurer of the Hattie Larlham Care Group. He has been on various Hattie Larlham boards since 1996.
Community offices held as past chair or president include the Rotary Club of Warren; the Advisory Board of Kent State University Trumbull Campus (and is an emeritus board member); the board of trustees of the Warren Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Foundation; the board of directors of the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce.
Other community involvement has included trustee of the Rotary Club of Warren Foundation; secretary of the executive committee of the board of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc.; vice president of the executive committee of the Trumbull County Chapter of the American Red Cross; treasurer of the Second Bancorp Charitable Foundation; member of the board of Valley Counseling Services; the Trumbull County Career Development Advisory Committee; the Greater Western Reserve Council of the Boy Scouts; the Trumbull County Transportation Steering Committee; and a charter member of the board of directors of Main Street Wooster, Inc.
Currently, Mast is a member of Akron, Ohio, chapter of Sales & Marketing Executives International (SMEI) and the Akron Press Club.
