Community Events at the Play Center
Families from the community are encouraged to enjoy the Play Center at Hattie Larlham for community events. Children and parents can play together and take advantage of the play areas, games and special experiences available at the Play Center at Hattie Larlham. The play floor is a great place to meet other families during these events and promote a sense of community for attendees. Each event follows a theme.
Please bring a camera to capture a special memory, your sense of fun and the expectation of a wonderful family experience that only The Play Center at Hattie Larlham can offer. While at the Play Center, families can learn about respite activities, camps, fieldtrips and parties that happen on the play floor.
Community Events Dates and Themes
Saturday, March 31, 2012, 10 a.m. to noon: Easter Bunny Brunch
Saturday, May 19, 2012, 6 to 8 p.m.: Father/Daughter Dance
Saturday, September 22, 2012, 6 to 8 p.m.: Mother/Son Dance
Saturday, December 8, 2012, 10 a.m. to noon: Breakfast with Santa
Community Events Admission and Registration
Hattie Larlham requires all attendees complete and return a registration form (PDF). Admission to The Play Center at Hattie Larlham is $5 per person. Children under the age of two years old are admitted free of charge.
The Play Center Rules
Please keep in mind the following rules when visiting The Play Center at Hattie Larlham. These rules are meant to keep everyone safe while ensuring everyone has fun.
- It is the responsibility of each parent/guardian to actively supervise every child brought to The Play Center.
- Enjoy snacks and drinks only in the kitchen.
- Please use inside voices and walking feet.
- Help put toys away after playing with them.
- Shoes are not permitted in the Quiet Room and adult supervision is to be provided at all times.
- Respect the decisions of The Play Center staff.
- Promote an equal opportunity of fun for all attendees while you share the play floor.
