The Play Center at Hattie Larlham is a resource for families of people who receive services from Hattie Larlham as well as members of the community.
At The Play Center at Hattie Larlham, imaginations are encouraged to run wild. Play is an important part of the development of children. The lessons children learn though play and interpersonal exploration can impact their success in the classroom and, later, the workplace.
This 7,000-square-foot facility was designed for programs like summer and school-year camps for children with disabilities. The Play Center is also a communuty resource for birthdays and parties. Local organizations and schools are also encouraged to use The Play Center for field trips.
