Hattie's Preschool

Hattie’s Preschool is a new, year-round child care service for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Hattie’s Preschool is currently taking registration from community familes now. The program starts in late spring.

Hattie’s Preschool is a new public preschool that expands the scope of Hattie Larlham’s child care services to include children without developmental disabilities. Hattie Larlham has a 50-year tradition of providing care to children with disabilities. This experience is now available to area children of all abilities at the new Hattie’s Preschool.

One of the preschool's goals is to bring people from outside the disability community into Hattie Larlham. Children with and without disabilities are welcome to learn, share, laugh and grow together at Hattie's Preschool.

Hattie’s Preschool will be open throughout the year from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to meet the needs of working parents. The new preschool is located at Hattie Larlham in Mantua, 10 minutes from Streetsboro and 15 minutes from Ravenna, making it ideal for area families or commuting parents.

Preschoolers have their own classroom at Hattie Larlham and access to educational technology, like iPads. Preschoolers will also have supervised access to other Hattie Larlham amenities including an outdoor playground and an indoor swimming pool and 7,000-square-foot play area. The preschool will follow the HighScope Preschool Curriculum.

The cost to attend Hattie's Preschool is $150 per week. There are full- and part-time enrollment options to meet the needs of flexible schedules. Payment assistance options are also available.
