Held annually since 1986, the Sugar Bush Golf Classic to benefit Hattie Larlham has become a much-anticipated tradition!
The outing is a shotgun-style in two flights, morning and afternoon. Golfers enjoy a day on the links, as well as breakfast or lunch and an awards dinner at Sugar Bush Golf Club in Garrettsville, one of Ohio’s top public courses. Participants can qualify for several individual and team prizes, and can participate in fun on-course contests such as closest to the pin, hole-in-one, longest drive and a putting contests.
More than 220 golfers participate each year, to benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living at Hattie Larlham’s Center for Children with Disabilities in Mantua, Ohio.
Since the outing’s inception in 1986, the outing has raised more than $1 Million to enhance the lives of the people in Hattie Larlham’s care.
