The High School Pathway program is designed for Northeast Ohio students, age 16 and above, who are interested in joning the healthcare and DD services workforce.
Students hired will work as Direct Care Assistants (DCAs), providing assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Work schedules are flexible, with shift hours after school and every other weekend. Upon graduation and when the student is 18 years old, DCAs can earn more money and gain additional experience when they transfer into a Direct Support Professional role at Hattie Larlham.
