Hattie Larlham Appoints Two New Foundation Board of Directors
MANTUA, OH – Hattie Larlham CEO Stephen Colecchi announced the appointments of Grant Hesselbart and Shojuana Mertz to the Hattie Larlham Foundation Board of Directors. The role of the Foundation, as the fundraising arm of the organization, is to support the programs and services offered by Hattie Larlham. Both Hesselbart and Mertz were officially appointed on January 1, 2026.
“I am pleased to announce the appointments of Grant Hesselbart and Shojuana Mertz as our newest board members,” said Colecchi in making the announcement. “They both bring valuable, diverse experience and organizational knowledge to the board. We are thrilled to work together with Grant and Shojuana to continue to provide the highest-quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
Practice Plan Coordinator at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Shojauna has served many roles at Nationwide focused on operations and leadership. “I am honored to be a part of the mission of Hattie Larlham by serving on the Hattie Larlham Foundation Board,” says Mertz. “I believe that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered to thrive!”
Throughout his career at Rocket Entertainment Group, Grant has held multiple positions within the organization and currently serves as Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service for the Cleveland Charge. “I’m thrilled to be joining the Hattie Larlham Foundation Board of Directors,” says Hesselbart. “Hattie Larlham plays a critical role in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Northeast and Central Ohio and I’m so excited to support such an amazing organization and cause!”
