Hattie Larlham offers group living at five Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) residential homes in Cuyahoga and Summit counties.
Each home is customized to meet the needs of our residents.
In addition to being fully wheelchair accessible, each home is outfitted with specialty equipment and features, such as chair lifts and custom bathing suites. Each home accommodates eight residents and promotes a clean, homelike, and personalized atmosphere.
Services provided at the group homes include nursing, direct care, and transportation services. Medical care and monitoring is overseen by a medical director and onsite nursing staff. Each group home provides nutritious home cooked meals from a menu developed by a licensed dietitian. Services provided to residents include total daily care and medication administration. Nutrition can be provided orally or by gastrostomy tube. Many, but not all, residents at our ICF homes are non-ambulatory.
Onsite laundry is also provided as well as an array of in-house and community recreational activities. Residents enjoy comfort-of-home amenities including: televisions, radios, iPads, books, communication devices, and adaptive equipment. Residents also have the opportunity to participate in a day program of their choosing and many attend one of the Hattie Larlham Constant Companions day programs located in the community.
Residents also enjoy on-site occupational, speech, and physical therapy services, including onsite fabrications, repairs and modifications to adaptive wheelchairs and equipment.
