What is DD Month?
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, DD Month for short, is observed nationally every March. Since 1961, Hattie Larlham has focused on potential, on hope, and on building brighter futures for people with disabilities. We’ve remained committed to bringing comfort, joy and achievement into the lives of infants, children and adults, dedicating ourselves to making each day brighter and better than the last.
DD Month presents an opportunity to focus on the ways we continue to empower people with disabilities to achieve brighter futures. It's also a chance to recognize that Hattie Larlham wouldn't have such a lasting legacy within our communities without the dedication and support of donors, volunteers, staff, and friends.

2026 Annual Address
In celebration of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, Hattie Larlham looks forward to sharing our 2026 Annual Message. Hattie Larlham CEO Stephen Colecchi will be joined by Mike Weinhardt, President of the Hattie Larlham Board of Directors, Okey Ekechi, Director of ICF Group Homes, and Mary Horoszko, Chief Development Officer, to share a recap of notable moments from 2025 and a look forward into the year ahead. Stay tuned for the message release on Friday, March 13!
