What is DD Month?
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, DD Month for short, is observed nationally every March. Since 1961, Hattie Larlham has focused on potential, on hope, and on building brighter futures for people with disabilities. We’ve remained committed to bringing comfort, joy and achievement into the lives of infants, children and adults, dedicating ourselves to making each day more promising than the last.
DD Month presents an opportunity to focus on the ways we continue to help people with disabilities achieve brighter futures. It's also a chance to recognize that Hattie Larlham wouldn't have such a lasting legacy within our communities without the dedication and support of donors, volunteers, staff, and friends.
We are Brighter Together. We are Hattie Larlham.
