Excel is Hattie Larlham’s day support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northeast and Central Ohio.

Our Excel identity is a representation of the core elements that we’ve built into our day programs from the very beginning: exploration, connection, engagement, and learning. We are, as we have always been, deeply invested in the happiness and achievement of the adults who attend our programs. Together, under a unified and energized brand, our day programs in Northeast and Central Ohio continue to deliver on our commitments to the people we serve, represented by a name that highlights the culture and values we have thoughtfully fostered at our day programs.

EXPLORE

We seek and celebrate opportunities to discover new, exciting places in our communities. We are explorers during trips to arts and culture venues, fitness and recreation centers, shopping and dining establishments, parks, sporting events, and all the new, fun places in between.

CONNECT

We grow and thrive by forming new relationships and nurturing existing bonds. By connecting with our peers, activity leaders, fellow community members, and civic leaders, we enrich our daily lives through shared experiences.

ENGAGE

We strive to make a positive impact in our communities by donating our time and talents with volunteer organizations, advocating for those in need and hosting collection drives, making and delivering treats to our friendly first responders, and connecting with community leaders and local politicians.

LEARN

We enrich our lives with daily opportunities to learn new things and share our ideas. Whether we’re exploring new hobbies, developing daily living skills, discussing current events, or participating in educational activities, we use every day to learn and grow.
