Franklin County Recreation offers a wide variety of community-based activities and events for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Most events and outings occur in the afternoon or early evening, with occasional events and activities over the weekend.

FCR has programs that are based on the interests of the members, as well as new programs that help them explore the local community and beyond. Some events include travel to other cities and states, which our members love as an opportunity for adventure.
Franklin County Recreation provides people with developmental disabilities new experiences that promote independence, socialization and community integration. If you're looking for a center-based day program for adults with disabilities, try Addventures.
All FCR members must be provide documentation that demonstrates an allowance of a minimum of three hours of alone time. Franklin County Recreation does not provide personal care or transportation to local events.
