Hattie Larlham Appoints New Chief Development Officer

Hattie Larlham CEO Stephen Colecchi announced the appointment of Mary Horoszko as the chief
development officer for the Hattie Larlham Foundation. In her role, Ms. Horoszko will lead the fundraising,
marketing, communication and outreach efforts of the organization and will also provide support in the area of advocacy. She officially assumed her role with the Foundation on January 4, 2021.


“We are very pleased to welcome Mary as she joins the executive team at Hattie Larlham,” said Colecchi in making
the announcement. “She brings a long and outstanding record of success in donor and corporate engagement and she is very passionate about the important mission of Hattie Larlham. The Boards of Directors of both Hattie
Larlham and the Hattie Larlham Foundation look forward to working with Mary as we pursue continued growth
and success to best support the needs of the people we serve.”


Mary is an accomplished fundraising executive and also possesses a broad professional background in sales,
marketing and communications within in the private sector. She previously served as director of development for
Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, where she played a key role in their annual campaigns, as well as a $13.5
million capital campaign. Most recently, she served as director of business development and sales/marketing for
Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. In this role, she established a number of partnerships with both not-for-profit and forprofit entities across Northeast Ohio and the entire country.


“I am honored to join the Hattie Larlham team,” said Mary. “I've spent my career committed to making a
difference in the lives of those in need and am excited to be a part of this outstanding organization.”
Ms. Horoszko received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University. A lifelong resident of
Northeast Ohio, Mary has a demonstrated passion for supporting civic organizations and charitable foundations
throughout the region. She currently serves as a member of the Colin Scheetz Family Foundation Board of
Directors and is a resident of Seven Hills, Ohio.


The Hattie Larlham Foundation plays a key role in helping fund programs and services that provide comfort, joy
and achievement to the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities Hattie Larlham serves. Since 1963,
the Hattie Larlham Foundation has raised millions of dollars from individuals, foundations, sponsorships, and
special events in support of the organization’s programs and services.
