Hattie Larlham Celebrates Disabilities Professionals
Hattie Larlham is honored to recognize the important contributions of its employees known as QIDPs.
July 15th is observed nationally as Developmental Disability Professionals Day, which was established to give special tribute to Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDPs.)
A QIDP is a federally-mandated position from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for all Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs). QIDPs act as lead service coordinators for each person served at an ICF. Each QIDP is highly trained and possesses a 4-year degree in a social service field and at least one year of outside experience working with people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Hattie Larlham is proud to employ a total of eight QIDPs across its six ICF locations. These outstanding employees consistently go above and beyond as advocates for the residents they serve and Hattie Larlham is honored to have them as part of its service delivery team.
