The Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities provides long-term medical and residential services for children and adults with disabilities.
Watch below as Medical Director Dr. Richard Grossberg explains what makes the medical, therapeutic and direct care services at the Center exceptional.
In addition to medical and direct care services, every resident has the opportunity to enjoy educational and enrichment services, including:
- Capstone school program for school-age residents
- Achieve day program for adult residents
- Offsite day support programs, such as Hattie Larlham's Constant Companions
- Recreation programs
- Creative Arts program
During their art session, Elizabeth shows Jess how to hold a paintbrush using a specialty strap.
Recreation and therapy services are provided on-site, and often involve activities in our on-site indoor heated swimming pool and outdoor wheelchair-accessible playground. On-site adaptive wheelchair fabrications, repairs and modifications and on-site fabrications of orthotics are also available.
We caught Kerry giving her best smile during movie time.
The Center emphasizes a home-like environment and the living spaces and bedrooms within the Center are clean, filled with natural lighting, and are personalized with family photos and décor.
The Center is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and ICF funding and private pay are accepted at this location.
