The ventilator services provided at Hattie Larlham are a cost-effective, quality care alternative to a hospital, nursing home or skilled facility.
Ventilator services are provided on a 24/7 basis with oversight from the Hattie Larlham medical director, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapy director, respiratory therapists and nurses.
Ventilator services are provided to those who require a ventilator at all times, as well as to those who need to use a ventilator intermittently or during certain times such as nighttime sleep.
In addition to the highest quality medical care, each person who receives ventilator services at Hattie Larlham will also have access to speech, physical, and occupational therapy, as well as in-house school, day support, and recreational programs.
While receiving long-term ventilator care at Hattie Larlham, each resident enjoys a personalized bedroom in a beautiful living space. The Center emphasizes a home-like environment for everyone in our care, so everyone feels comfortable and happy.
Persons who qualify for ventilator services with Hattie Larlham should have an intellectual/developmental disability, be non-ambulatory, not have high behavior support needs, and be stabilized on their ventilator.
